Janet Namute is a young Zambian lawyer, public speaker, gender advocate, and holder of a Degree in Laws, a Diploma in Public Administration, and a Certificate in Project Management. She is currently the Director of Women in Governance Zambia, an organization dedicated to promoting the welfare and inclusion of women and girls.

Ms. Namute practices as an Advocate of the High Court of Zambia under Messrs Lumamba Legal Practitioners. She is also an alumna of several prestigious leadership programs, including the Leaders Arise American Embassy Cohort Program, the Be Relevant African Leadership Cohort, and the Inspired Women’s Lead Swedish Program, among others. Her extensive involvement in leadership and governance initiatives reflects her commitment to empowering women and driving positive change in her community.
